Biography

Mr. Michael T. B. Chan is currently serving as General Manager – Corporate Strategy in MTR Corporation Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 0066); as well as Managing Director of its subsidiary MTR Lab Company Limited. Before joining MTR Corporation, he had accumulated extensive multi-industry experience in corporate strategy and planning, sales operation management, business development, corporate finance and change management. Mr. Chan previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Inchcape Greater China from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, he served as General Manager, Strategy & Operations at Zung Fu Group from 2014 to 2019, and was appointed Corporate Planning Director of Dairy Farm Group in 2012 after joining Jardine Matheson Group in 2011. Mr. Chan is a chartered financial analyst of the CFA Institute, and a fellow member of both the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
