Biography

Martin Brudermüller is Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE since 2018. He became a Member of the Board of Executive Directors in 2006 and was headquartered in Hong Kong until 2015, responsible for Asia Pacific and the Plastics segment. Since 2011, he was serving as Vice Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE and from May 2015 to Jan 2021, as Chief Technology Officer. Brudermüller started his career with BASF in 1988 in the Ammonia Laboratory. He studied Chemistry at the University of Karlsruhe and did a postdoc at the University of California, Berkeley, United States
