Biography

Dr. Marcus Ewig was born in Zweibrücken, Germany, in 1972 and has held management positions in the automotive industry for more than 20 years. After studying economics at Saarland University, Dr. Ewig worked as a Senior Consultant Logistic & Services at IDS Scheer AG. He then moved to Porsche AG as a Process Engineer and later to Porsche Leipzig GmbH as Head of Finance and Corporate Organization. During this time, Dr. Ewig completed his doctorate at the Faculty of Information Systems at the University of Leipzig. Since 2017, Dr. Ewig has been Managing Director (CEO) of Rhenus Automotive SE.
