Biography

Prof. Dr Andreas Herrmann is Professor of Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen and Director at the Institute for Mobility at the University of St. Gallen (IMO-HSG). He is also Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics (LSE Cities) and the Stockholm School of Economics. Furthermore, he leads the Executive Education Programme on Smart Mobility Management and is Academic Director of the HSG Summer School for Empirical Research Methods. He has published 15 books, including on autonomous driving, and more than 250 scientific articles in leading international journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Marketing Science and the Journal of Marketing Research. Andreas Herrmann has been conducting cooperation projects with companies such as Audi, Porsche, Roche, Sonova and many others for years. He earned his doctorate at the Otto Beisheim School of Management (WHU) and his habilitation at the University of Mannheim.
