Since July 2022, Alexander Britz is responsible for the Public Sector businesses (Government, Healthcare & Education) within Microsoft Germany. Before he was in charge for activities in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability and oversaw all Government related business in Germany and served as General Manager Europe of the Microsoft Health Solutions Group. Before joining Microsoft in 2010, Alexander held various management positions at Philips. He was leading the commercial activities of Philips Healthcare’s MRI business in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, he also headed the company’s Healthcare IT division in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Next to his experience in Healthcare Alexander was also active in other industries: He was European Sales & Marketing Director for Philips Special Lighting and worked in Philips Semiconductors where he was responsible for marketing of identification and automotive products in Asia/Pacific.
